I decided to build a small deck over spring break. I choose the Dek Block pier system because I know that I would have to do most of the work myself. A day and a half later, I am pretty happy with the results.
That’s impressive work for a day and a half DIY job! It looks like a nice and cozy spot to spend lazy afternoons at. :) I’m a little worried about that faucet in the corner though. I hope it doesn’t leak and that your deck is nicely sealed, so you don’t have to deal with water damage any time soon.
So, what are you planning to put on your brand new deck? Summer is coming and it will be really nice to spend some time out on a deck during summer, don't you think? It'll look great with some flowers and plants around. The place will look lighter and brighter.
Good job for a DIY deck project! Now, if you have time, I suggest you add some railings in it, or have the floors painted to add some appeal. You could also grow some greens around it. This area would be perfect for a morning coffee or nightcap with a buddy. | Ryann@YanceyCompany.com|
